The tour includes 5 nights accommodation: 2 nights in a Berber desert camp in Merzouga (or 1 night camp + 1 night Merzouga hotel), 1 night in a hotel in Dades Valley, 1 night in a hotel in Ouarzazate, and 1 night in a hotel in the High Atlas area or Marrakech. All hotels are comfortable 3-star standard with private bathrooms. The desert camp provides traditional tents with proper bedding, shared bathroom facilities, dining area, and campfire. For those preferring more comfort, upgrades to luxury desert camps with private bathrooms or higher category hotels are available upon request at additional cost. Single supplements apply for solo travelers.

What meals are included and what about dietary restrictions?

The tour includes 5 breakfasts and 2 dinners (at the desert camps). Lunches and other dinners are not included - you'll have opportunities to stop at local restaurants along the route where you can choose meals according to your preference and budget. The desert camp dinners are traditional Moroccan meals typically including salad, tagine, bread, fruit, and mint tea. Drinks (water, soft drinks, alcohol) are not included with meals. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special requirements when booking so we can notify the hotels and desert camp in advance. Vegetarian and other dietary options are available with prior notice.

This 6-day tour involves moderate daily travel with well-planned stops. Average driving time is 4-6 hours per day, broken up with interesting stops every 1-2 hours for sightseeing, photos, and meals. The vehicles are modern, air-conditioned 4x4s or minivans comfortable for the terrain. The route includes mountain passes, desert tracks, and paved highways. The Tizi n'Tichka pass (Day 5) reaches 2,260m altitude with winding roads - motion sickness medication may help sensitive travelers. All drivers are experienced with these routes. The itinerary is designed with strategic overnight stops to minimize fatigue and maximize enjoyment of each region's highlights.
